On a down day between projects, Ryan challenged me to a duel. Well, not quite a duel, per se, but he challenged me nonetheless. “Make a lightsaber,” he said. Surprisingly, though I am clearly a nerdy dude—and member of the Star Wars generation—I had never attempted the lightsaber effect.
Naturally, there are a zillion methods and tutorials around for creating the lightsaber effect. However, as is often the case, not many people talk about using Boris Red to create the effect.
